Based on this platform Lantmäteriet has developed additional components that together form an internationally unique software solution for working with large and small-scale mapping, public utilities and the formation of property units.
With custom objects in focus
In ArcCadastre the focus is on custom objects - not on geometries - to support handling of spatially related information in the widest sense. With ArcCadastre it is possibilities to handle data, functions and rules in an integrated way. The functions include capture of data, computation, drawing and publication of static maps on the Web.
A program to develop with
Thanks to the technology that has been chosen for the development of ArcCadastre users can customise and build up systems to satisfy their specific needs in a variety of different ways. Different functionality that may be needed in different countries, or by different user groups, to satisfy the requirements of local legislation or other reasons, can be added to ArcCadastre.
Unified production line
With ArcCadastre you work in a unified production line from field work and computation, processing data, the presentation of different maps and documents through to the final storage of the data in an object-oriented database environment, from which other applications and systems can retrieve information for processing in different ways.
Areas of use
ArcCadastre has been constructed to suit a wide range of users and uses such as:
- Local authority survey and mapping organisations.
- Property formation.
- The production of cadastral index maps.
- Public utilities mapping.
- Surveying and mapping companies.
- Property management groups.
- Property tax assessment and property valuation.
- National, regional and local planners.
